Claudia Maldonado, Founder and CEO, holds a degree in Industrial Engineering. She has worked in manufacturing and quality and led business startups throughout her 35-year career with organizations such as Westinghouse and National Instruments, and large-scale energy deployment projects for the Department of Energy.

Dr. Tim Stephens, Director of Commercialization Strategy, brings deep expertise in turning concepts into commercial success. With leadership roles at BP, Saint-Gobain, and hard-tech startups, plus mentorship at top accelerators, he ensures Atrevida’s technology is efficient, scalable, and meets offshore demands—delivered on time and within budget.

Dr. John Hall, Science Advisor, is a University of North Carolina at Charlotte professor, and the Director of the Systems Realization Laboratory (ESDRG). Dr. Hall has worked for over 20 years on wind energy technology which has also been the focus of his research group at UNCC. He has over 20 years of industrial experience and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Edward Tierney, Leadership Advisor, is a Systems Engineer and High Reliability Manufacturing
Executive. He provides expertise in connecting long-term strategic vision to tactical execution. His international, technical, and business experience in developing strategic relationships leverages “lesson learned” from many years of European offshore wind O&M experience.

David Atwood is the Industry Advisor, currently working for Vineyard Wind, and formerly Head of Integrated Management Systems & Governance for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. He provides expertise in offshore windpower with a deep understanding of the quality, R&D, sales, procurement, production, warehouse, logistics, and service functions.

Aditya Atre - Blade Modeling and Development Intern. He has BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. He is in his 1st year of the PhD program for Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
